Por fin!

The world cup is over, Argentina lost in sudden death penalty shots against Germany. Oh what a sad day... but thats long forgotten (at least in my mind). These days my mind is filled with other thoughts. First off, I GOT A JOB! Finally! I am teaching English thru an english Institute that sends me to businesses around Buenos Aires to teach to executives. Me? Executives? Those words just sound so weird together. Anyway, so far so good. Not so hard to speak your native tongue but it is hard to remember you are their teacher. We could talk for hours and I can totally forget to correct one mistake. I'm getting more and more used to it.

I signed up for my next level of Spanish classes. These past 2 months without lessons I have been learning so much slang that if I dont start more lessons i'll be speaking like a street rat. Not that theres anything wrong with that. The class will be one month, everyday for 3 hours a day. INTENSIVO!

Going back to NYC for the month of November... get ready folks! We gotta live it up cause December I come back to South America to go to Ecuador for 6 weeks. I will be volunteering teaching English to children in this beach town called Bahia de Caraquez. It will be a pretty "tranquila" 6 weeks but definitely fulfilling and a great experience. I will have English teaching training for a week and 20 hours of Spanish classes. Teach in the morning and afternoons free to go to the beach, explore the city, play with the children, etc.. Pretty excited for it all.
